Sarah Hade is a media composer specializing in writing captivating cinematic music. Her music has been described as ‘atmospheric’, dreamy and full of emotion’ with a ‘truly unique sensitivity’. Her substantial experience across various genres from classical to electronic and gospel has fostered her capability to create a wide range of original and captivating compositions
Sarah’s music and arrangements have been performed by the National Symphony Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in venues including the Royal Albert Hall and the National Concert Hall. In 2023, Sarah co-arranged and co-orchestrated the 'Nintendo Suite' with Eímear Noone which is comprised of a selection of renowned video game music themes. This had its first world premiere at the BBC NOW Gaming Concert 2023 performed by the the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. Since then, it has been featured in several concerts including ’Video Games Music in Concert’ at Usher Hall, Scotland in May 2023 and 2024, and at Telekom Forum Bonn, Germany in March 2024. Furthermore, in 2023 Sarah arranged and orchestrated ‘Not an Apology’ for Eímear Noone’s 'Daughters of the Pirate Queen' concert at the National Concert Hall in Dublin.
Working as an assistant for renowned film and video game composers Eímear Noone and Craig Stuart Garfinkle, Sarah has assisted on a range of projects. These range from the highly acclaimed animated feature film 'The Canterville
Ghost' (2023), Stewart Copeland’s ‘Police Deranged for Orchestra’ album (2023), the highly successful Netflix series 'Maxine' (2022), and the 'Legends of the Hidden
Temple' series (2021-2022). Currently, Sarah is working on a production music album for Amadea Music Productions along with her own album which she intends to release later this year. Earlier this year, Sarah also assisted composer Anna Rice for Ruán Magan’s ‘Our Blue World - A Water Odyssey’. In 2023, Sarah wrote the music for a Spaghetti Western short film ‘Vengeance of the Brotherhood’ (2023). Her latest achievement includes achieving 3rd place in the Airwiggles 2024 music contest for her piece ‘Beyond the Tide’.
